Laboratory
Why is our in house laboratory important?
We are proud to have the most current state of the art in house blood analyzers for rapid, accurate results. Other in house tests include heartworm, lyme disease, ehrlichia, anaplasma, feline leukemia, feline immunodeficiency virus, parvovirus and giardia. Complete urinalyses can be also performed. Fecals samples are sent to an outside reference laboratory for more thorough analysis. A wide array of additional tests can be sent to our affiliated commercial laboratories. Basic cytology specimens can be reviewed in our laboratory when necessary.
Radiology
WHAT IS DIGITAL RADIOLOGY?
Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography. These high quality radiographs are important in the diagnosis of many diseases. Because they are digital, they can easily be sent to specialists for review and consultation. A copy can be created for you if you would like one.
Radiographs helps our veterinarians make more precise diagnoses. This in turn can help us and you make timely decisions regarding your pets’ care.
Ultrasonography
What is a pet ultrasound?
A mobile ultrasonographer provides in-hospital ultrasound when needed. With this important tool, we can more clearly visualize the heart and abdominal organs. Referral can also be arranged in certain circumstances if necessary.

We are very excited to offer Companion Laser Therapy to our patients! Laser therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free, surgery-free and drug-free treatment option that can be used for:

Laser therapy stimulates the body to heal from within. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the affected site for several minutes and absorbed by the injured cells.
